Bootcamp description

The Software Engineering 2026 Bootcamp is a career-focused, one-year full-stack engineering program designed to prepare learners for real-world software development roles.

This is a hands-on training experience built around how modern software teams actually work. Students begin with developer foundations, learning version control workflows, the command line, and core programming concepts. The bootcamp includes an AI curriculum and Live mentorship sessions (2x/month). They then progress into frontend engineering, followed by backend development, API design, databases, authentication systems, and deployment practices.

Throughout the program, learners build multiple real-world projects that reflect professional engineering environments. They work with feature branches, pull requests, structured commits, testing practices, and production-style deployments. The focus is on thinking like an engineer and building systems that are clean, secure, and maintainable.

The bootcamp also teaches responsible and effective use of AI tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and productivity. These skills are increasingly expected of modern engineers.

By graduation, students will have built and deployed full-stack applications, collaborated using Git-based workflows, implemented secure authentication systems, connected applications to databases, written tests, and completed a final production-ready capstone project. Graduates leave with a professional GitHub portfolio and the practical experience needed for entry-level software engineering roles. All this for only R917 a month.
